My Daughter is small?

Today I went for my daughter's 9 month check up. She weighed in at 14 lbs 10 oz. My doctor continues to be concerned about her weight. A little history she has continually come in under 5% however she continues to grow. She has met all the milestones and now she is crawling, holding her self up standing on items and walking along the couch. Every time I go in I prepare myself not to worry knowing that she is just small, but it never fails. Why is it a doctor can make me worry so, even when I know that through research everything is ok. Breast fed babies are just small. Does anyone have an opinion on this or similar situation? Is your baby small? Here are a few sites that have helped me understand things a little better.

It think US doctors should update their charts. WHO (World Health Organization) thinks that most doctors uses a chart for babies on Formula.. and those babies tend to grow a lot faster.
